It’s all happening…

Pausing to notice your collection of small, significant steps…

I know it can feel like your mind automatically scans for what’s wrong, what still hurts, what hasn’t changed yet, or where you think you’ve fallen short. That’s a very human tendency. It’s how our brains try to keep us safe. But it can also make it hard to see the progress you’ve already made.

I want to encourage you to pause and notice what is working. It doesn’t have to be huge. Maybe you reached out for support when you normally wouldn’t have. Maybe you caught yourself before slipping into an old pattern. Or maybe you just showed up for yourself on a tough day.

Those moments matter. They’re real signs of change, even when they don’t feel big. Growth often happens in these quiet, almost unnoticeable ways.

That’s how real change usually happens. Not in one giant leap forward, but in a collection of small steps, each one building on the last. Over time, those small steps add up to create significance, and what once felt impossible starts to become second nature.

So if you can, take a moment this week to ask yourself: What’s one thing that’s going well for me right now? You might be surprised at what you find.
