CLINICAL LPC SUPERVISION AND STUDENT INTERNSHIPS
LPC Associate Supervision with Beth Clardy Lewis, LPC-S
Beth offers supervision to LPC Associates in both Texas and Connecticut. She holds 15+ years of experience training, guiding and supervising associates in the ethical world of private practice. Associates will receive quality and thorough supervision that is in direct alignment with each state’s supervisory requirements.
- You hold the freedom to fluctuate between individual and group supervision meetings for one cost (as available). There are strong benefits in both formats. Selecting a combination of both ensures a quality and enriching supervision experience.
- Attend your supervision meetings in your pjs! Why not?? All supervision meetings are currently virtual sessions via HIPAA compliant Simple Practice software. How convenient!
- Beth has 15 years experience as a successful LPC supervisor. She has over 20 years experience as a therapist in private practice and owner/founder/supervisor of Vervewell Counseling.
- Beth has earned the reputation as an expert in her field. She not only meets with the fully licensed Vervewell Counseling staff weekly for debriefing and on-going supervision, she also has created and hosts the Vervewell Counseling podcast titled This Won’t Be Done By 5, has written on-line therapy courses through her website: Long Live Lively, she contributes to, and monitors the Tuesday Email Vervewell blog, and she is the author of her first self-help book titled Stop Talking About Your Childhood (available on Amazon). She often extends invitations to select Vervewell staff to help her co-host the podcast, contribute to the Tuesday Email/Vervewell Blog, and to create courses to add to Long Live Lively.
- Associates are often asked to stay on longer term with Vervewell Counseling once fully licensed, if the fit is good and agreed upon. Paid job opportunities, as well as course writing for LongLiveLively.org, are also available (upon need) to the long-term staff. This allows for financial gain beyond the therapy sessions.
- $400/month This is $100 per one hour, weekly supervision meeting. In the months where there are five weeks, you receive a free meeting. This is to be paid at the first of each month.
Associates will not only learn exceptional clinical skills, but will also learn the ins and outs of private practice, Vervewell style: stewards of high-end customer service, welcoming and warm offices, virtual backdrop aesthetics, marketing confidence and approaches, and social media professionalism.

Student Internships with Blake Overstreet, LPC
Blake Overstreet, LPC, assists Beth in offering leadership for student interns. He, himself, was once a student intern with Vervewell Counseling and went on to complete his supervision hours with Beth as his supervisor, and the Vervewell team as his support system. We are honored to have Blake on our full time team of fully licensed therapists. He is an active contributor to the Tuesday Email/Vervewell Blog and can be spotted in some of the Vervewell Counseling podcast episodes.
