Because of my own journey, I am passionate about working with young adults who are at these exact crossroads. My work focuses on individual therapy, with the eventual goal of expanding into family and couples counseling.

I was raised in a family that believed hard work and dedication could take you anywhere you wanted to go. Throughout my life, I found a strong sense of identity in achievement and was highly involved in nearly every aspect of life. However, during my second year of college, I experienced a period where I could no longer rely on overworking or overachieving to push through difficult emotions. For the first time, I felt stuck and unsure of how to move forward.

Starting therapy challenged me in ways I did not expect, especially as someone who had always been highly independent and uncomfortable relying on others. Through that experience, I gained a deeper understanding of myself, including discovering previously undiagnosed ADD and recognizing the impact anxiety had on my daily life and relationships. Therapy helped me develop healthier ways of thinking, coping, and connecting with others, and it ultimately inspired me to pursue counseling.

Because of my own journey, I am passionate about working with young adults who are at these exact crossroads. My work focuses on individual therapy, with the eventual goal of expanding into family and couples counseling. I approach therapy as a collaborative space to help clients work through anxiety, depression, stress, emotional regulation, and academic or school issues. Whether you are dealing with a major life transition, managing ADD/ADHD, navigating family conflict, or learning how substance use impacts your life, my goal is to help you build practical coping skills and find your own way forward.

Outside of work and school, you can catch me rooting for my favorite sports teams with my friends and family. I am an avid Arkansas Razorback fan as well as anything Dallas (Stars, Mavericks, Rangers, and Cowboys). I also enjoy spoiling my 5-year-old Boston Terrier, Sunny, or catching a Pilates class in my free time.
