My first self-help book (part personal memoir) was released a year ago! While I have been humbled and in awe of the amount of people who have purchased my book, the feedback from my cherished readers has been a gift, a bonus, of healing for myself.
It’s never too late to redirect your own trajectory. The best love and support in my life came from being first hand witness to my mother’s personal growth after her divorce with my father (35 years ago!). She is a different woman, now in her 80’s, than she was when she raised me, my brother and my sister, as reflected upon in my book. She is my mentor, my role model, my inspiration. I hope to be like her when I grow up. I hope my therapy methods come from a place that honors her leadership and love in my life. Her strength, grit, gumption and authenticity have been a part of MY toolbox and certainly played into my own re-pathing of my life in this past year.
If this speaks to you at all, please purchase my book, purchase my on-line courses at LongLiveLively.org, and/or schedule virtual therapy sessions with me so we can, together, redirect, reshape, grow and support your trajectory. The work I have the honor to do with my clients is my passion that comes from my own story, my own relationships and my very own human condition.
“As I write this today, my mom is again my hero, my role model. Being front row and center to her journey of self-confidence and personal growth has allowed me to grow in my own right. She found her way into a marriage with a man, my stepfather, who loves her dearly, and whom she loves in return. I hope to find a relationship like theirs, should I be so lucky. She found such a strong relationship because she grew a version of herself that had spent years dormant, although desperate to surface. It is never too late to heal oneself. And when we do, those who love us will experience our newfound health too. What a beautiful thing.”
