Casye LeRay
LPC Associate under the supervision of Beth Clardy Lewis, LPC-S
Due to an impactful and personal experience with loss during my earlier college years, I was inspired to dedicate my career to helping others navigate their own challenges, and to use their own losses for service. I have a passion in helping my clients achieve the very best version of themselves.
As a dedicated therapist and educator, I bring a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to my work at Vervewell. Born and raised in South Louisiana, I grew up as the youngest of three siblings, embracing a distinctively independent spirit that has shaped my approach to both life and work. My journey from a rebellious student to a compassionate therapist is a testament to my desire and commitment to helping others.
I earned an undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University, where a fascination with the mind and body developed, and led me to pursue a minor in psychology. This early interest built the foundation for a lifelong dedication to understanding human behavior and supporting mental wellness. After moving to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, I began a career in education. I taught middle school math while coaching sports for twelve years. During this time, I discovered a deep passion for school counseling. Ultimately, I accepted a leadership role, supporting students in grades PK-5. I’ve been thriving in this role for the past seven years.
Driven by a profound desire to make a difference, and to use my own life story, as well as my strong skills working with adolescents, I went back to school and pursued advanced degrees in both school counseling and professional therapy from Amberton University.
