I n my early 20s, I found myself in an unhealthy relationship, my relationships with my friends and family were strained and distant, and I was generally unhappy with myself and the situation I was in. The worst part of it all was that, deep down, I knew how to better my situation; I just needed someone to nudge me in the right direction. That nudge came in the form of therapy. Through therapy, I learned how to change the way I viewed myself. Over time, I began talking to myself more positively, setting healthy boundaries with those around me, and learning how to respond to stress in healthier ways. The changes I made through my own therapy propelled me down the path I am on today, and ultimately led me to discover therapy as a profession.
I am now married to a lovely woman. We have two cats and a dog together. When I’m not working with you, I am typically spending time with my family, playing video games with my friends, hanging out with my pup, or binge-watching a TV show.
My goal is to help you realize change in your life the way my therapist helped me. Whether you want to work on the same things I did (positive self-talk, setting boundaries, or coping with stress) or if you want to work on something totally different, I would love to sit down with you in session to discuss your goals, and work with you to achieve them!
